Mars Lander: It is gratifying to hear of the 'soft' landing of the mars explorer that arrived on the Mars surface over the weekend. 'Soft" as opposed to a 'hard' landing at say 33,000 mph which tends to discombobulate the flux capacitor. Discombobulation has occured on over 50% of Mars trips. Is it just me or does it strike you that the images sent back are strangely reminiscent of the ones that came back from Voyager in the ‘70’s? Same view; rocks, red dust, same nondescript horizon. If Capricorn One was real - and these new images do little to dispel the possibility - you'd think they'd al least have used Photoshop.
Carter: Jimmy C gets funding from Arab sources who are anti-Israel and who support terrorist activities. One would conclude that this alone disqualifies him from opinion on the Middle East or using his former presidency as a rental soapbox. Rather than repeat the contents of an article posted on the Butler Report I suggested you read the torid details yourself and come to your own conclusion. JC's not acting in anyone's interests but his own and his benefactors – (See Jimmy Carter's true allegiances, just follow the money – DailyNews) whose interests he reflects. This is as disturbing as Jimmy attempting to influence US policy with Colombia while receiving funds from the drug cartels. Or a sitting president and vp infleuncing our oil policy while deeply embedded in the business themselves - another story, for another day.

Imagine this scenario if you will...
A prominent American recieves large sums of money to fund his interests here in the US. That same individual meets with groups defined as terrorist organizations by our governement, and the United Nations. Fraternising with the enemy used to be called treason.
Now it is called Jimmy Carter.
